the 14 April, 1870, I have
to inform you that I have authorized the Crown Agents
to pay to Messrs Maynard & Co. their usual charges for services rendered in respect
of
the purchase, on Govt account, of Duddell's leasehold property in Hongkong.
The entire amount of Messrs Maynard's Bill is £55, 8, 0.
